Aliaksandr Malchanau, sentenced to 1 year and 6 months
Sentenced to three years of imprisonment for «participation in actions that seriously disrupt civil order» on the day of the 2010 presidential elections and later pardoned,the 23-year-old oppositionist returned to prison again. For once Malchanau was convicted for stealing scrap metal from an abandoned factory.

Mikalai Statkevich, sentenced to 6 years
Ex-presidential candidate, leader of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada), Mikalai Statkevich was adjudged guilty of mass riot organization on December, 19, 2010. On May 26, 2012 the court sentenced him to six-year imprisonment in a maximum security penal colony.

Mikalai Autukhovich, sentenced to 5 years and 2 months
In May, 2010 the Supreme Court of Belarus sentenced the former businessman from Vaukavysk to five years and two months of imprisonment in a medium security penal colony under the Criminal Code's Article 295, which penalizes the illegal handling of arms, ammunition and explosives, because of five hunting rifle cartridges found in his safe. Eduard Lobau, sentenced to 4 years
The activist of the Young Front, a youth opposition group, was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment in a medium-security penal colony. Eduard Lobau and Zmitser Dashkevich were attacked by a group of unknown men a day before the 2010 presidential elections. After short scuffling police showed up and arrested Dashkievich and Lobau, accusing them of beating two inhabitants of Minsk.

Siarhei Kavalenka, sentenced to 2 years and 1 month
On December 19, 2011 Kavalenka was arrested in connection with criminal proceedings under Art. 415 of the Criminal Code (evasion of liberty restraint service). Being accused of violation of parole and facing three-year imprisonment on December, 20 he went on hunger-striking in protest. Since that time he has reduced by more than 30 kg.

Pavel Seviarynets, sentenced to 3 years of correctional treatment
One of the leaders of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party (BCD) was sentenced to 3 years of correctional treatment. He is banned from leaving the Republic of Belarus.

Belarusian anarchists
In May, 2011 three anarchists were sentenced to different terms of imprisonment (from 3 to 8 years). They were adjudged guilty of arsoning the Russian Embassy building in Minsk.
